WHAT IS ROBOTICS?
What is Robotics? Robots are machines that can be used to do jobs. Some robots can do work by themselves and other robots must always have a person telling them what to do. Robotics study integrates various components such as building, designing, electrical, programming and business to create high functioning robots used in everyday life, depending on its task. Robotics is useful for students interested in the engineering or the scientific research field.
Our Robotics team at RHHS is building a functioning robot to compete against other robots at the First Robotics Competition (FRC).
WHAT IS HYPERDRIVE ROBOTICS?
We are the HyperDrive Robotics Team 6593 at Richmond Hill High School . Robotics means a great deal to each and everyone of us. We construct a robot from the ground up applying the knowledge garnered from the classroom. HyperDrive Robotics is a team contribution, we rely on each other to construct a robot that will be able to preform a set of tasks. We are in school 25 hours+ weekly dedicating ourselves to learning new skill sets and collaborating as a team in order to achieve our goal. Our Robotics team are composed of diverse members who are specialized in roles such as programming, electrical engineering, technological, business, and constructors. Robotics is an enjoyable program that helps us be competent for the future tasks that we will face. RHHS has been making strides towards a brighter future for us, its students, by exposing us to such a educational program.
