Commonpoint Queens offers three programs at Richmond Hill High School designed to support students’ academic, social, and career success. S.T.A.R.R. (Succeeding Together and Reaching Resilience) serves low-income students and their families through academic support, post-secondary planning, internship opportunities, and household assistance. G.O.A.L.S. (Grab Opportunities And Learn Skills) fosters student development with social-emotional learning initiatives and college and career readiness programming. The Student Success Center employs 12th-grade student leaders who support their peers in planning for college, the workforce, and other post-secondary pathways. Students in these programs engage meaningfully with their community through service opportunities, field trips, and peer connections.
