Dear Parents,

‍Welcome to Richmond Hill High School - a place of new beginnings, growth, and boundless opportunity!

‍My name is Luis Carchi, and it is both an honor and a privilege to introduce myself as your new Parent Coordinator. I am deeply grateful to serve this vibrant and diverse school community that I have come to know and love.

As your Parent Coordinator, I proudly stand as a bridge between families, the school, and our wider Richmond Hill community. My mission is rooted in creating a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where every family feels empowered, informed, and actively engaged in the academic journey of their child.

Here’s how I will work alongside you:

• Foster a warm and welcoming environment for all families.
  
• Serve as a liaison between parents, school staff, and the community.
  
• Keep families informed and engaged with ongoing school events and opportunities.
  
• Support and guide family participation in the PTA, School Leadership Team (SLT), and other school initiatives.
  
• Provide resources and workshops based on the needs and interests of our families.
  
• Champion events such as job fairs, cultural nights, and wellness workshops, all designed to enrich both school and family life.
  

Richmond Hill High School offers strong academic programs, STEM opportunities, and specialized academies. My goal is to shine a light on these strengths so that our parents and community can see, feel, and be part of the progress firsthand.

I truly believe that when families are involved, students achieve more higher grades, greater confidence, and a stronger path toward college or career success. But even more than that, when families are involved, schools thrive.

We are stepping into a new chapter for Richmond Hill High School one of excellence, unity, and transformation. Yes, challenges will come, but together we can overcome them and build something lasting for our children and for generations to come.
